After listening to the AAF and understanding their overall goals, the design and development solution implemented was a very web-centric design that catered to users ranging from low end computer configurations with low monitor resolutions and dial-up modem connections to users with more robust computer set ups and Internet access. The visual concept of unifying voices through an open community with no borders that reached for the sky also solidified the AAF's mission as a gathering place for professionals in the advertising business sector.
In 2002, the American Advertising Federation site was honored with a WebAward from the Web Marketing Association for “Outstanding Achievement in Website Development” proving once again that design can effectively provide solutions and lower barriers while bridging and engaging communities.
